Dance Body Concepts in Motion Seminar-Workshop Dancing well, not just dancing; is more than just doing things, is doing it with a conscious mind.
Balance and Weight Transfer: learn the latest techniques and how to use your body to achieve them. You will learn how the body moves and functions to maximize your individual potential. Good posture, being on balance, and fully changing weight on each step are essential skills for dancing well. Without these qualities, a good frame and connection with a partner are not possible.
Practice Methods: learn how to rapidly advance by innovative practice methods and drills. These drills will make you stronger and a more effective partner! Balance is the ability to maintain the center of gravity of the body while minimizing postural motion and sway. It is a state of bodily equilibrium characterized by complete stillness; Feet exercises that will improve your balance and ease of movement.
Flexibility, Rotation, and Strength: learn a special created series of exercises concentrating on the muscle groups required for both Latin and Ballroom dancing. Rotation and flexibility are at the heart and core of all dancing. It is breath, moment by moment, movement by movement that warms our core and brings a smile to our faces.
Graceful Arms Hands and Fingers-Volume and Flexibility: learn to master both stylistically. Dancer's hands and arms are an integral element of dance performances used to draw attention and/or fame an area of the body, elegant ease of their movement adds gracefulness to your dancing.

Our Body Concepts in Motion seminar is limited to 10 students; so, that we can personally get to know you, your dancing and be available to answer any and all your questions throughout the 20 hours we are together. There are no limitations by style or level or experience the information we will cover is equally applicable to Ballroom and Latin dancing.

Dance Body Concepts Seminar is taught in a friendly and supportive way. The emphasis is on understanding the body movement concepts for dancing the importance of posture and how to introduce exercises that will add increase balance, strength, and flexibility to your dancing.
This intensive 20 hour seminar workshop is taught in a semi-private environment and mini-workshops for you to grasp the benefits of Body Concepts and to expand your principles, poise, and awareness in your own dancing skills. You will expand both your body and your mind through all of the following topics that are covered. How Much does it cost?$550.00 for 20 hours of instructions divided into 3 hour Mini-Workshops. How do I register for the workshop?To sign in for the workshop deposit fee $150.00 by July 8th and the balance will need to be paid the first day of the workshop.
